sure that all glue and paint have completely dried
by Sunday morning. Launch lugs must be
securely anchored to the rocket for a safe,
vertical launch. All rockets have some sort
of engine stop that prevents the engine from
simply traveling up through the rocket, usually a
cardboard ring or the end of a metal clip at the
end of the tube that holds the engine (for the
Wizard, this is the rocket body itself). Be
sure to follow the assembly directions carefully
to keep launches safe and fun.
Class B shirt or Class A shirt. No neckerchiefs or sliders. We want to look like an organized group and leave a good impression.
Excessive wind or rain could delay or cancel the launches at any time, even after we start. It is suggested you get to the launch site early if the weather looks questionable. The last launch will be at 11:45 AM.
